The blend of this 2007 vintage is composed of 70% Pinot Noir and 30% Chardonnay. It contains 91% Grands Crus and 9% Premiers Crus. In total, 14 crus make up this wine. Fermentation is carried out entirely in oak barrels. Bollinger R.D. is marketed only a few months after its disgorgement with a very low dosage, called “Extra brut”, only 3 grams per liter. This recent disgorgement is the guarantee of the remarkable freshness of the champagne.
